I've had a lot of people in the last few days asking me if I will be at the FANEXPO next weekend.

I can't believe you even have to ask me such a question. What self respecting comic book store would not want to be involved in the largest comic themed convention in Canada. What makes it so big is that it doesn't just focus on comics, but features horror, anime and science fiction as well. And this year's show has moved back up to the North building, which as everyone knows is above ground level and looks out over Front street. So say hello to natural light and goodbye to the feelings of claustrophobia that you may have felt in previous years.
Come check out my booth, I'll have tables full of bargain paperbacks and hardcovers, as well as a great selection of full priced books like the Omnibus collections and DC Absolute editions.
Boxes full of single issue comics priced at $2.00 and less, for those of you looking to fill in a few gaps in your collection, will be on hand too. Somehow I will even find the room for all those statues and busts that I don't have room to display all at once in the store.

Don't worry if you can't make it down, the store will still be up and running as usual, although with slightly shortened hours. The store will be closing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday August 26th-27th, so be sure to shop early those days.
