NEW COMICS WEDNESDAY - JANUARY 5th

Well the holidays have been and gone, but the new comics keep on coming.
The Batman Beyond mini-series did very well and justified and on-going series. Based on the characters from the cartoon show, the new comic is more closely tied to regular Batman continuity.
Also from DC we get the first issue of a new on-going Steel series, a one-shot featuring 2 characters (Starman and Congorilla) from the JLA, and an anthology mini-series called Weird Worlds ,featuring Lobo and 2 new characters. You may notice from the covers, that DC is running another "theme cover" month. During January, all their covers will feature a big shot of the lead character(s) and their icon above them. A good month for such a promotion, as it is also the first month for DC's "rollback the prices" initiative. All DC comics that were increased to $3.99 recently will be dropped back to the previous $2.99 price.
From Marvel we get a couple of Captain America minis. 1 set in the regular universe and the other is an Ultimate title.
