Avengers Childrens Crusade Young Avengers, has got to be one of the longest most convoluted titles in Marvel history. Simply put, this series should have just been called, Young Avengers vol.2 and leave it at that.
Deadpool Max History of Violence is almost as bad, and its just a reprint of the first 3 issues of the Mature readers Deadpool comic.
Fear Itself Book of the Skull, sounds like some kind of preview book, when it is actually the lead-in to the Fear Itself event series starting next month.(and they wonder why the orders are low on it) Its just another example of Marvel screwing with us in an attempt to sell 2 "first issues" for the same series.
What Marvel really needs is more plain simple descriptive titles, like Ruse, a relaunch of the Crossgen Sherlock Holmesian character from the '90's.
Phoenix #1 is NOT a Marvel comic,but a relaunch of the old Atlas comic character.
Another old character comes back from the dead(literally)as DC restarts the short-lived Milestone title, Xombi.
Marvel is also shipping a couple of .1 issues together, Hulk and Uncanny X-Force. These have been doing a lot better than I expected, still not sure why.
Bargain hunters can load up this week, with 3 first issues for a buck each. Dark Tower, G.I.Joe and Ghostbusters.
BUT, the real bargain of the week, is World of Archie Double Digest #5, as it brings you the 3 issue mini-series, Tiny Titans/Little Archie, complete for only $3.99. I could sell a ton of these at $10.00 a piece!!

I e-mailed you a couple times but did not get a response so I do not know if you got them or if they are lost in cyberspace. ANyway I noticed not many stores in town are doing Free COmic Book Day I was wondering if I attempt to e-mail a list to you of some stuff I am interested in if you could put them aside for me. I am interested in more then a few for myself and my nephew who does not live near a store. I would like them without store stamp or logo if possible and would be willing to pay 25 cents per issue since I know the issues are not for free to you. I have not been to the store in over a year but have good memories and hope you can help me out. If you can just let me know and I can try to e-mail you the list within a few days and if for some reason you do not get it reply again and perhaps I can try to phone into the store durning the afternoon after March Break or if my schedule permits try to stoop by to the store.

Sorry Dave , been really busy and not a lot of time to catch up on my mail.
The reason a lot of stores have stopped Free comic day is not just the cost(which goes up more each year, a lot of this years books are 50 cents and more)but also the time involved. The only way to recoup that expense is to attract NEW customers to the store. Helping fill in collections for people who already read comics really doesnt help me or the industry. I am mainly focusing on kids and schools now, trying to get kids interested in comics again.
I am only ordering the minimum amount of comics this year to qualify for the advertising, and will be giving away mostly old Free comics that I have already paid for.
Sorry, maybe you'll be able to find another store that will fill an order for you.
