NEW COMICS WEDNESDAY-JAN.20th

Another well-balanced week, without a ton of books all featuring the same characters.
The Agents of Atlas continue to wander the Marvel Universe as they go up against the Avengers for a few issues.
DC ships a few more Blackest Night revivals, Phantom Stranger and Starman. The Phantom Stranger issue features a host of other "magical" DC universe characters including Deadman and Blue Devil. The Starman has Robinson penning what could be the last Shade story.

Vertigo gives us another $1.00 comic as Joe the Barbarian #1 ships. I'm not sure why they think this one needs the buck book promotion, Grant Morrison has enough of a fan base to give it a solid start.

Wildstorm starts off another Supernatural mini-series, if they used this photo cover for the whole print run rather than only 10% of them, it would probably sell a lot better.

NEW COMICS WEDNESDAY- JAN. 13th

Wow, another fairly average week. Only a couple of #1's, and nothing major from the big 2. Well we can trust Marvel will catch up to us at the end of the month.
DC continues to revive "dead" titles with Catwoman and Power of Shazam, this week. The first 2 did really well this week, a special event like this always does better in a slower week when customers have a chance to see it.

Ed Hannigan designed some really great covers for Marvel in the 70's and 80's. Ed Hannigan Covered, is a benefit book to help the ailing artist and will only be available once.

NEW COMICS WEDNESDAY- JANUARY 6th 2010

Well the holidays are all done with and its back to business as usual. Hope everybody out there had a great Christmas and a safe New Years.

The first week of the year looks pretty good, nice mix of stuff with a few really cool items.

One big book to mention is the Seige #1. The start of the next major Marvel x-over and the return of the big 3 at Marvel. Cap, Iron Man and Thor, are all that stand between Osborn and the world.

Punisher gets a one-shot Special, as Frank ties up some loose ends from his friend, Yorkie's death.
Its a blast from the past as DC continues their Blackest Night event with 2 titles coming back from the dead. Suicide Squad and Weird Western Tales were cancelled years(or decades) ago, but here we are with all new issues tying them into the Blackest Night. Watch for more of these "resurrected" titles in the weeks to come.

NEW COMICS WEDNESDAY- DEC. 23rd

Well its the final shipping list for 2009.
Only 1 new comic will be on sale for the 30Th, so feel free to spend as much as you want this week.
Angel Annual ships together with the last part of the 5-parter, Only Human. Its always a little confusing when a company ships two storylines for the same character on the same day, but its never stopped Marvel or DC.
Another Blackest Night 3-parter starts, this one is the JSA, who have a lot of skeletons(or rather zombies) in their closets.

The real Cap is back(maybe) and he wants his shield back. Captain America Who Will Wield the Shield is a 1 shot that answers that question.

Chimichanga #1,tells the story of a bearded girl and.....never mind, its by Eric Powell(The Goon) that's all you need to know.
Two What If? books this week, one about the Astonishing X-Men and the other is Spider-Man House of M.
Speaking of What Ifs?, Archie marries Betty, part 5 of the future story, arrives for Christmas.
