On the Shelves April 4th

Other than Buffy #2 (is that Nick Fury on the cover?) it looks like a Marvel dominated week.
Avengers Initiative sets up the new Marvel world order, as Tony Stark and company begin training a whole new breed of heroes. With a team for each of the 50 states, that's a lot of potential spin-offs.
Speaking of spin-offs, Omega Flight #1 will try and explain why Canada's super team is mostly American now. Originally the plan was these were going to be characters who ran out on the Civil War, but how did the American government have any kind of hold over an alien like Beta Ray Bill?
Civil War, unlike Capt. America, refuses to die. This week sees the first of the Fallen Son storyline dealing with the death of a legend. Apparently each issue is meant to address one of the stages of grief, Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. Written by Jeph Loeb, who recently lost a son, I'm sure this series will have a very personal feel to it. This issue is Wolverines story.
Runaways #25 starts a storyline by Buffy creator Joss Whedon, great timing arriving in the same week as Buffy #2.
The only DC title to note is Justice League #7, an extra-sized issue with 3 different covers and a fold-out poster of the teams new headquarters.
